I asked a few Twitter chums for suggestions of good foodie pubs outside of Manchester.   I thought I’d share the best suggestions (I think I prefer the Lord Binning):

•  Yellow Broom
• Bullshead, Mobberley or the Plough and Flail Mobberley.  
• A nice one in Daresbury village off the M56!!  Called the Ring O Bell
• Hesketh in Cheadle Hulme
•  Lord Binning at Kelsall, near Delamere
•  Rams Head in Disley
• Red Lion, High Lane
• Stretton Fox (Junction 56, M56)
• Bell of Peover, Knutsford
• Golden Pheasant, Plumley
• The Farmers Glory Inn Haslingden
• The Swan Inn, Kettleshulme

Chorlton Park is in Chorlton, Manchester.  The park is large and has football pitches and play areas.  It also has a number of adjoining schools.

The first thing I noticed is the sheer number of stakeholders at the park

In the kids area there is quite a big space just surfaced with safe play materials

There is a section cordoned off for younger children

There is a school, a sports area and a skate park too  (It’s difficult to see on this video though)
